I have had the pleasure of fishing with Rene Limeres in both Kamchatka and Alaska. He is the author of the Alaska Angling Guide, which is an amazing guide to fishing in Alaska, and he is also working on a complete book for Kamchatka. While talking to him in preparation for a Kamchatka 2007 trip last night he mentioned to me that he would be doing seminars at the San Mateo ISE.

This guy is one of the pioneers for both Kamchatka and Alaska, and has awesome information for trip planning.

Last year me and 4 friends fished Kamchatka with him and had an amazing time. We fished a River called the Tikaya in Northern Kamchatka. We were the first Westerners to float and sportfish the river. In the better stretches of the river we averaged between 50 and 75 fish per day per person, with the majority of those fish were on surface mouse patterns. We drifted and floated for 10 days and almost 100 river miles.

If you've got the time you should check out his seminars.
