What's the deal ??

Should we all get together for a BBQ or somethin' along those lines ??

We could dress Darian up like Santa .....

David,

That sounds like a good idea. It would be nice to put facea with the names here. I can supply some home smoked chicken or turkey.

We can do this anytime.

Lets discuss the timing.

Sometime in December?

How about December 17th? That's the last Saturday before the Christmas weekend.

Next question is where? Would this be a cook outside of the Kiene's shop (like the Annual Expo), or a park/restauraunt/someone's house?

Marilyn just informed me that we already have 2 family Christmas parties that Saturday Dec 17.

What about Friday after 6pm, Dec 16?

or Sunday after 4pm, Dec 18?

Remember this is a very busy time of the year when the shop is open with Christmas shoppers.

Or Saturday after 5pm, Dec 10?

Dang !!

Forgot about the masses out shopping , I don't think a party at the shop will fly .

How about this - we'll start a sign-up sheet/post on the board .... under 12 people , we do BBQ at my house in north Sacramento . :!:

Over 12 , there is a large , un-used park down the street from me (Norwood/Silver Eagle) - we can carry on there without being bothered , and cast a bit , as well . :)

Unless it's raining or freezing , I think that would work .

A Xmas get together does sound like fun. The wife says our place is available if we are still looking for a place. I have a dirt backyard but if it is a night gig we wouldn't be getting back there much anyway. Pool, fly tying, rod building, eats and drinks are all we could entertain at the moment. Our place is in Woodland but it's only a 1/2 hour from the fly shop. I also have a party to attend on the 17th but any other time would work. That's all I know.

Okay, put me on the list. I am open to when and where. Let's do it!
