Fished a little creek a couple of miles away that opened up today. Water was really low, only fished a couple of hours, would call the fishing "fair" but a hell of alot better than the last 7 or so times hitting the feather hard. Had a nice fat 19 inch chromer by a covered bridge, and a couple of strikes at another spot.
I havent had even a strike from a steelhead on the feather this year. I have caught sucker, salmon (taken in the mouth), even squawfish but not even a single hit from a steely.
