The Upper Sac is open all year now.
Many of our trout streams will be closing soon.
A few lakes close to but not many. Most are open year round.
Many fly fishers will fish all winter though.
You have lots of things to do if you want to fish here in CA.
Many low elevation reservoirs will have trout up very shallow all winter.
Eagle Lake and Pyramid lake are popular winter fisheries.
The Delta will be fish all winter for Stripers by many fly fihsers from boats.
Steelhead will be in many Nor Cal rivers all winter.
There are still lots of low elevation streams and rivers with trout like the Lower Yuba, Putah Creek and Lower Sacramento.
