Kings.....or Kings?

Tough choice today 'har in the hills....do I fish for King salmon....or hunt mushrooms, the King Bolete? Gotta love that mushroom hunting...stumblin', bumblin' around the woods like a Steve Young run, and then you score!!! My mushroom bag felt like I was carrying a twelve pack (and I know that weight well) when I came onto a patch of boletus edulis. The cap on one must have been twelve inches. No wonder they call them the King. Lemme tell you, not sure if it is good to be the King, but is good to find the kings, wether they swim or live under spruce.
Fun times up north. Fun times. Even the neighbor hasn't shot over my head lately. Fun times.

Hey Galen,.... You dryin'/smokin' those 'shrooms or cookin' 'em :?: :?: Have you got a good recipe you're willin' to share :?: :?: I use a lot of Morels in the spring.... Got some dried Morels, now. I've reconstituted 'em in white wine and made a great creamy sauce for serving on pork or fowl.... 8) 8) Haven't tried it on fish, yet. 8)
