Just curious what people are using now for sinking rigs on the Klamath and Trinity rivers. Are folks sticking with the 30' shooting head rigs, or using the 15' Winducutter style sink tips mainly?

I fish 15' windcutter tips and airflo poly leaders on both rivers since there is really no need to get that deep in either river. Last i heard as of a week ago, people were hooking fish on both river with floating lines.

While I would mostly agree with Jason's comments there are times when going to a full head or even a 24' teeny type line has paid off. I know that Bruce Slightom will use these lines and has had great success. While fish on the Klamath are often surface oriented, I think by going deep you will often have a better shot at fish especially adults during bright days. Of course this is run dependent
