DFG Funding....

The Eureka Times-Standard reported, in an article this week, that the governor has told DFG that they will not receive revenue from offshore oil drilling operations. DFG had, earlier, lost the revenue as a result of a lawsuit. DFG had planned to appeal the decision.

The governor intervened and eliminated that potential source of revenue for DFG. :( :(

The Times-Standard reported on a meeting of interested groups/parties was held at Humboldt State University to discuss the impacts on Salmon recovery of the loss of Tidelands Oil Drilling revenues and some potential alternatives.
