Well, assuming the ad is legitimate, it would be an absolute steal considering these rods retail new around $650. With 2 days left to go, though, you can fully expect the current bid amount of $76 will go up SIGNIFICANTLY.

I would agree with Hairstacker, it will go up significantly as hardly anyone bids on items until the last few hours. Set a reminder in your calendar or whatever you need to do and Add This Item to your Watch List on eBay. Go back and look at it a couple hours before it ends, and if the price is not too high, drop a bid in with a minute or so to go. You also need to realize that anyone else that wants this rod will be doing the same thing.

Actually, 399 as I am working on refinishing a cane stick that is just taking up way too much time and $$$.

Well, I just checked it again and, with 14 hours left to go, it's sitting at $300. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it goes for over $400.
