Fished the Yuber on Saturday with buddy Ian. We were on the water by about 7:30 a.m. Ian stuck many fish and did very well, landed most of his fish. I coulnd't buy a fish, LDR'd a few, got my ass handed to me. Nymphed in the morning a bit, saw a few risers, couldn't figure them out. Incredible numbers of baetis until about 9 a.m.? But they weren't having what I was throwing. Tried at least two sizes each of multiple emergers and adults, but went home with my tail between my legs. Flows are low, clarity is great.
