Just returned from two days in Redding. I can't believe it's been 25 years since I've been up in the area. When I worked for PG&E I use to vacation in the Burney area for two weeks with the family. It's amazing how much the area has grown. I took rodes that I had no idea where I was going.
Trying to read the directions and drive just doesn't work.
Saw and talked to alot of friends and others. Talked with Adam Grace for a little bit, along with Bill Carnnazo and some friends from Salinas who now live in the trinity area, right behind the Trinity Fly Shop.
I made the trip on the run. I was in Downey a couple days before the Conclave. Drove home picked up some clean clothes and headed up to
Redding. Put around 1400 miles on the truck in 4 days.
From what I saw, it looked like a good crowd but I've never been there before so there's no way I can match the crowd.
The knee was sore by the end of the day but I just bit the bullet and iced it down in the evening. I was real interested in the Dave Scadden pontoon boats. If I could only bend my knee to use the platform.
Well enough space taken
