My family is heading to Lake Tahoe next weekend to stay with friends and I hope to get out fishing while there. I have seen a number of posts on the Little Truckee and wondered if it is still fishing well. If so, would dries be good or is nymphing required.
I might also try to go to the Rubicon if it is still a good time for dries. Rob and Ed have posted some positive reports earlier in the fall, and if it is still worth the drive, I might try that as well. Thanks for any advice or reports.
