Eagle Lake Fly Advice

I'm planning on going up to Eagle Lake in November and wanted to know what flies you guys thought I should tie up. Any advice? Thanks a bunch!

Hey Mario,..... Any of the patterns by Denny Rickards or Jay Fair will work at Eagle Lake. In addition, patterns used at Pyramid Lake in Nevada will work, as well. Olive, black, brown, rust orange and purple Wooly Buggers; chub like streamers, snails, Dragon Fly nymphs and beetles all work..... Have some weighted and some unweighted. 8) 8)

The water up there is similar in PH (very alkiline) to Pyramid Lake and the food supply is similar, as well. 8)

Don't forget to bring your long johns :lol: :D :D
