I have been there, 3 years ago, although it was Spring time and I was targeting the cutts on that river, just above where it joins in with the Fraser. When will you be there. I am heading up there too, at the end of the month. I will be fishing with someone I met from fishbc.com (look for info there) although it has a mix of ff'ers and others. We fished the Fraser 2 years ago and he got me into my first pinks on a flyrod. The Fraser is a HUGE river. Also meeting with a guy that used to run one of the flyshops up there. Shoot me an email and I can tell you more info, at least all I know about this years runs.

Why the Harrison in particular?

PS Always enjoy reading your posts on Gus' board as well. Do yo ever here from him anymmore no that he is in Texas?

We will be fishing with a guide Oct, 21 & 22 and then on our own. We will fish where the guide suggests it is best. I would lile to see as much water as possible and take my own sled up next year. He mentioned the Harrison never blows out and may be where we are fishing.
Gus shows up on the board every now and then and seems to be doing well in Texas. To bad he had to move , but he does have a pretty good position with Dell. I'll try and email you if I can figure it out.

Mark,
I enjoy reading your reports on the Rogue. I guess catching all those steelies just gets boring after a while, so it's time for a road trip, eh? Good luck up there, and give us a report when you get back. :D

It's always nice to see new places to fish and new fish to catch. But I have been questioning the timing of our trip. There are so many things in our area to fish and hunt for in October there isn't enough time. Jay and or I will post a report when we retun. Hopefully it will be a sucessful one.
