Well I finally made it out f.fishing after being here 3 weeks.
It was so beautiful in the Logan river Canyon that I spent more time using the camera than f,fishing. But I was able to land around 10 fish . All small under 15''. The river has Rainbow,Cutthroat and Brown trout. The Rainbows and Browns were more beautiful than the Cutthroats.I used A Adult stone fly on top with a bird nest dropper 30'' below. The fish took both .

Here are a few photo's of the Logan river with the Fall colors. 8)

Great report and pics Rob. Those are beautiful fish and the color change in the leaves makes the photos that much cooler. Keep those reports coming. I have a good friend that lives in Salt Lake City and i hope to make my way up there in the next year to do some fishing. Your report is making me anxious to get up there.

Nice fish! Keep in mind that those cutthroat are Bonneville cutthroats - the only native fish to the basin. There aren't too many places left with those fish around. As fall approaches, start fishing the lower river towards third dam, and the stretch between second and third dam - you want to start looking for the big browns coming out of the reservoir. The Utah state record brown came out of that stretch... I had a personal best down there last December around 22".
