Any half pounder reports?

Any reports of half pounders being caught in the recent week on the American. Seems like it has been a late start to the run or if there is a run at all. I have heard of more adult steelies being hooked than half pounders. Whats the deal?

I fished yesterday evening for a couple of hours just below Goethe. Nothing but smolts for me. There were quite a few caddis coming off just before dark, but only saw a few dinks rising. It's gotta start soon, right?

It should have started already. Last year i was catching them aa early as August 20th. Maybe they are just a bit late this year.
