Figured if anyone would know it would be you guys.
Does any outfit out in lewiston or weaverville area rent pontoon boats like the outcast boats on a day rental basis?
I'd love to try one out for the day drifting to a few spots I can't get to on foot, but just can't justify buying one at the moment.
I've steered kayaks, canoes, etc down rivers but just don't own one.
We're heading out on one trip early december time frame.
Thanks for any info!

The answer is no, not in Lewiston or Weaverville. I've been told, however, that there's a shop in Redding which will rent for around $100 to $125 per day... sadly, I can't tell you which one, so call around, and you'll find it

I think the Chico Fly shop may rent Bucks.

Fish First in Chico, my current employer, has one for rent.

Call Mac at the shop at 530/343-8300.

Hi Folks,

Similar to Paul's previous request, I am interested in trying out a pontoon during some time on the Klamath. Does anyone have any additional information on where I might be able to rent one?

I would be driving from the SF bay area, so anywhere between there and the Klamath would be great.

Thanks for any advice.

Try Dragonfly Outfitters in the shopping mall in Weaverville. I don't think he rents boats, but will know if anyone in the area does.
