Mid-day in the heat large wild Rainbow trout are rising to dead drifted #10 grass hopper imitations on 4x tippet. Dave's Hopper is a favorite plus the Ed Schroder olive parahopper.
Swinging olive #8/10 Zonkers, leeches or buggers on a sinktip with 3x tippet could be good too.
