Keith Kaneko, Leo Gutterres, John Hogg and I are headed to Campeche, Meixco on August 22 which is in the northwestern Yucatan on the west coast near Merida.

Our friends who have the Tarpon Cay Lodge in the Yucatan northwest of Cancun have a new operation in Campeche now. This is for Baby Tarpon that run 5 to 35 pounds and occassionally larger. There are Snook there as well.

We have a few spots left if anyone is interested in joining use.

It is $2395 USD plus airfare to Merida for 5 days of guided fishing and 6 night lodging with meals.

This is my favorite kind of fly fishing.

Hey Bill,

I wish I could join your group to Campeche. It sounds great! Maybe next year.
Anyway, our "Kiene" group will just be returning from Tarpon Cayo, and we should have our hands full with tarpon. Still working on gurglers and Tarpon Neutralizers for the trip. Some great new sizes and colors, and gurglers too. I even have a new slider that might be incredible, since it is similar to the Snookeroo.
I'm sure I will have some left over from our trip, so will try and get some to you and Keith, when I get back.

Thanks again for opening up such a great fishery.
