I guess I can start with the most obvious question I ask myself every time I try to tie bead heads on nymphs. Why the shiny ones, I ask..?
Is it just an attraction for fish to say "what the :shock: " and take a chomp, or is a representation of natural act like a bubble...?
I could understand the bubble concept, but I've been tying all my nymphs with black heads of different metals. A black pin head on a fly to me looks a bit more natural than copper or nickle bright heads.
Fishing black beads has brought more fish to my net than other colors, no matter the body color.
Can someone tell me some of the selling points of other beads colors besides black..?
Thanks in advance for any response... -RR ------<)))>{
