For those interested , Scott MacKenzie broke Alexander Grant's long time spey casting record at the 2005 CLA casting championships with a cast of 68 yards!!!! That is a long line!!!!!!

Guess it's different under river conditions but still indicative of what's possible.... 8) 8)
