"Keith & Bill - For a couple of bums who never fished for tarpon before or who ever did much salt water fishing, we did fine. Four days and approximately 36 tarpons landed between the 2 of us. We probably had 3 or 4 times that many hook-ups so we were never far from the action. Marco and his partner and employees were delightful and never could do enough for us. Your description of TCL was accurate as were your suggestions on equipment and flys. We used your leader recipe except we used jam knots (2 nail knots pulled together) instead of the Albrights. Yellow and chartruse seemed to work the best when we were there. We did a lot with top water flys and nearly jumped out of the boat when we experienced our first strike!

Over all, it was an experience better than we could have imagined. We felt lucky to have experienced this unspoiled fishery and wish it could always stay that way. Thanks for your help and concern for us.
