Wow, it pays to surf the board while at work. I get to open up the new forum :D . I just got back Sunday from 5 days in Yellowstone. My first time there. Was told at a shop in Jackson that the Firehole was on fire. Yeah yeah I thought, FIREhole on FIRE, just a play on words. what I found when I showed up there was not a wordplay. The river at certain stretches was litterally on fire with insect activity. Browns doing full body leaps eating flies in the air. It was unbelieveable, lasted everyday2:30 till around 7:00. When I wasn't catching I was marvelling at the acrobatics of some of the trout. I am already planning on going back next year same time.

We had so many people in the shop going to Montana and other 'trouty' states that I realized we needed a special category for this. :idea:
