With our late spring and high flows June and July should be very good for most anything that has 'fins and lips'?

Normally we have a very large dead time in Nor Cal from late July till mid-September but this year that dead spot should be smaller.

June should be good down here in the Valley for Stripers, Shad and Warm Water species.

In the Sierras the lakes should be wild in June.

In June select streams should be very good as their flows come down and the water warms. I would be looking at the Upper Sac, McCloud, Pit, Hat Creek and Fall River in June.

Late bloomers like the NF of the Yuba and the main Truckee River will be real good in July.
