Martis Creek Lake

I have never fished Martis and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me. What is the best place to access, would I have to carry my tube very far if I wanted to use it? I know that wooly buggers work in most lakes, but what about damsels, calli's, blood midges, etc.? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

FYI, a judge tossed out the present Martis Valley plan citing a need to reduce density and impacts to local environment. It's about time someone made a tough decision. The supes can't.
