Fished the Sac. on Wed. with guide, Shane Hardin. It was on the cold side with wind in the morning from the south and wind in the afternoon from the north...not a good combo. Put in at Ward's and fished all the way down to Grimes...only two fish, the biggest only @6 lbs. The water level is good, however, the water is still a little off color. Headed all the way past Colusa in the afternoon. The water color is much better above Colusa. The bad news is that the fishing pressure is HEAVY. I have never seen so many guide boats in that section! The water temp. is good:59. We fished until @5:00 and found one good pod of fish. We landed 8 fish in that area with the largest only going 10 lbs. With warming weather, the action should improve.

Thanks,
But when Shane shows you a picture of a striper that he caught with Andy on the Feather that went 40 lbs.. those 10 lbs. look a little small. Those Boga's don't lie.
