A real beauty that was caught this past week!

Keith says that every now and then, mixed in with the wild Rainbow trout are these chrome wild Spring-run Steelhead on the Lower Yuba River (and the Lower American River). They run about 4 to 7 pounds and are a special fish that the fish God has provided for some lucky anglers.

Keith says the river is not real clear yet but is fishing good. He said many different bugs are hatching now.

Jason,

Keith says it is just a hit and miss thing for those nice wild spring steelhead as they are just caught while fishing for trout.

He says they are about 4 to 8 pounds and usually very wild.

I want one.........
