'course it's not new. But other than a dirty grip, it's in great shape.

The last of the snow piles went last week in a thunderstorm. Rivers crested over the weekend so if it doesn't rain too much more they may be fishable next weekend. Went to Great Waters Fly Expo in Mpls. last weekend. Great casting seminars by Tim Rajeff-he's really entertaining. Of course my excesses at the show are the cause of the rod sale.

OK, I HAVE to sell to help pay for the new rod I HAVE to HAVE. Sound familiar? $325 and you send me a cardboard shipping container. I'll pay to ship the rod back. e-mail: john.schohig@wwt.net

Ahh, I just had a flashback of Wisconsin! I grew up in Wausau WI, and left around 1985 to join the Army, and then settled in California. I do have to admit that I miss the snow, but I don't really miss seeing it for months at a time, and having to shovel it and drive in it all winter (getting the car spammed with salt)! I used to fish Lake Wausau and the Rib River a lot. Also recall going up to Rhinelander, to fish at Boom Lake too. Actually fished there last year when I went there to vist.

I'm not much of a snow person either. I did spend 3 years in Tulsa and sure missed Wisconsin's changing seasons, esp. spring and fall.
