I would say no at 7,000 cfs.........

I just got informed by the 'governor' that the release will be down to 5,000 cfs by Tuesday, April 5th.

This is fishable but be very careful.

I like under 3,000 myself with 2,000 my favorite for wading with a 28" inseam.

With these stronger flows, where's a safe spot? Goethe, Sailors Bar, Sunrise???

There are no "safe spots" , regardless of flow - try upper Sunrise . Please remember to not take chances . Getting "rolled" in the river is terrifying at best , and fatal at worst . You can high-stick below the hatcherey without gettin' the water . Hope ya nail a few and stay dry - David

You might want to consider that the safest places to wade may not be accessible as the parking lots may still be flooded..... :? For example, You could easily park a Upper Rossmor Bar but probably won't be able to wade there. :( :(

On the other hand, you may not be able to park at lower Rossmor Bar or wade..... Parts of Goethe Park may be OK to park and wade..... 8)

If you don't have a boat, Fishing/wading at these river levels is mainly for commando's like David...... :P :P :P
