Here is an email i just received from Noe in Belize.
Hey Bill!
well,l after scaring off tons of bonefish with my crummy casting and not being able to see as well as my guide, I finally caught a few!! The first three I had on I lost right off. The first 2 I held on to the line too long for those little dragsters and they broke me off using 10lb tippets!! the third one I had on for some time before it spit the hook. After that I started keeping them on. I also caught a couple of barracudas and a small shad. I could get used to this sort of fishing. I think next time I come down I'll try my TCR in 5 wt. That should be a kick on these bonefish! I think the rod could handle it. The evolution reel I have on it has plenty of backing and after their initial run the rod should be plenty enough. Kinda like chasing the halfpounders with my 3 wt!! Well, gotta run and work on my tan now. Regards to all in the shop....
