Most cars I've seen so far during the week. The nice thing was I didn't see another fisherperson while I was fishing the stretch of river I frequent. :D Did manage 6 fish today all on the PMD Parachute. Not much of a hatch today. I got there around 11:30 and fished till 2:00. A few March Browns emerging but did't see any action on one. LDRed 3 fish and missed a few more. I did get the largest fish so far on this river today, somewhere around 21". Here are a couple of photos. Great time to get out there.

Hey Mike, leave some fish for me to catch when i get home. Those looked like some brutes there! Shoot me an email one of these days so i can hear about these fish and get real jealous while i am playing golf. Looking forward to hitting the y in a couple of weeks. Maybe you, me , and Adam can hook up! Later. BTW, how about the recipe for that good looking PMD parachute.

Ok Ok it was on the Carpet PMD. But I'm quite sure it's not the fly. With all the other folks out today there should be other good reports coming in. This fishing stuff is just like business, location, location, location. Or a joke, timing, timing, timing. I'm just lucky to get out a lot and try to figure out what's going on.

Jason, the recipe is golden carpet tail and abdomen, light grey carpet wing, with a brown grizzley hackle parachute style. I like to keep things simple as you know. As of lately the fish don't seem to care. See ya in a couple of weeks.

Mike, that is an AWESOME fish!!! And on a dry no less. . . . That's it, I'm going to have to go skulking around the local sewing store and hunt up some of this magical material. Very impressive!!!
