Bill, I take it that you are back in Florida right now. By the looks of the house and area. When I grow up, I want to be just like you :-)

I sure like the looks of those weed mats along the edges. . . . like a sign sticking out of the water that says, "Bass," with an arrow pointing down. :D Sounds like you're having a GREAT time, good for you! Have you had a chance to hit the Stick Marsh yet?

Hi Jay,
Every morning and evening if the weather is good we can catch black bass and panfish on top in the fresh water canal behind my little house in Sebastian, FL.
Spring, summer and fall is best for the Indian River Lagoon and the Sebastian River a few miles from my house. Tarpon, snook, redfish, seatrout, etc.

Our little house in FL.
If possible it is nice to be very near some real good fishing especially when we are retired.

Bill,
Anymore of those little houses available. I'm sure the real estate is not like in California. I'm looking at some real estate on the east coast right now. The Outer Banks in North Carolina. They think it's expensive but like I mentioned, compared to Monterey, Salinas, Sacramento and Fresno, that's dirt cheap.
Have fun pulling fish

Jay,
I was on Harker's island a few falls ago.
You might email Sara Gardner and Brian Horsley about a good place to buy a little house back there?

Don,
It is only 1.5 miles to the free launch on the Sebastian River that has snook, tarpon and black bass.
It is like a small jungle river in Belize.
I have not fished it yet but have looked at it a lot.
Best fishing for the tarpon is April through October when it is warmer.

Last October this one was 28# on the Boga

Bill - 1.5 miles to tarpon, snook etc. YIKES....what a great spot / location. No wonder you walk around smiling all the time.
