Adam - posted this once but it did not show up? When I recently got the Anderson 13'3" 7wt I also got the Delta 7/8 per Putnam's recomendation.
This is a really super combination.
I just tried it on the Scott 1287 and wow - the thing sends tips on their way like they were nothing!! It is a bit heavy for floating stuff and expect you would prefer the 6/7 but for tips it is just an awsome combo - easily zips out 90+ foot casts with heavy tips!! Might give it a try!
