Surf Perch Clinics with Ken and Jay

If you have ever wanted to explore California's vast coastline with a fly rod, this class will give you an insight on techiques, equipment,as well as where and when to go. Ken Hanley has fished the entire globe with a fly rod and along with his parnter Jay Murkoshi, you will be learning from two of the most experience saltwater anglers and authorities. Students will be fishing in the surf for surf perch as well as other "surf zone" species. Casting and wading experience is required for this class.

I will also be tying up some perch patterns at San Rafael this weekend. I know Bill stocks some of the perch patterns in the shop. I understand that the perch bite is happening right now. If your real interested in fishing the surf zone, it's happening right now down in Southern Cal.
I'll post some reports at the end of next week. I plan on spending a few extra days after the show and exploring the beaches with a few friends.
