I do not live in Sac. but I read that the flows this past weekend were going to be at about 8000! Have the flows come down yet? What is the water color, temp, visibility? I was thinking of trying to get up on the river one day this week if it would be worth it. Thank you for any info you can give me.

I have only fished the American when the flows were below 1500. How difficult would it be to fish (drift boat) at the current levels, and what is the visability with all of this rain?
Thanks
Campbell

Fished the "A" today. No fish, but the river is in great shape. It was running around 2,500cfs and very clear. Good luck if you go Campbell.

Anything around 3,000cfs or lower is great. :D
2,000cfs is ideal for wading.
Less that 2,000 is OK but the fish get a little spooky.
Over 5,000cfs can be dangerious
