Im planning to float the south fork of the Eel near Garberville in a couple weeks. Any idea if there is a shuttle service up there? Any recommendations on places to stay or campgrounds? We're taking our dog on his inaugural river float so we're going to take our canoe rather than cataraft (not sure where he'd sit on the cataraft, but if you have any thoughts, please share, it's a 12 foot, 2 seater cataraft). It will be more of a scenic float than fishing trip but I'm going to take a couple rods, I'll be sure to post my results and any tips. Thanks.
