Talking to top veteran Steelheader, Al Perryman, he reported that the high water this winter seems to have really cleaned out the
Klamath River. He already had good fly-fishing reports from the river.

Top fly-fishing guide, Jason Hartwick, just sent me a very positive report on the Lower Klamath River.
"I have not been guiding in Alaska for the last few years. Just running Klamath and coastal steelhead trips.
Klamath is in the best condition I’ve ever seen. Very little moss and algae. The river has great clarity and no silt issues….at least below
the Trinity. Looks to be a good fall salmon and steelhead run. We've been seeing more adults than half-pounders, but half-pounders are
just starting to trickle in. Some really nice adults in the mix…"
