In around 1970, my dad and I went to a sport show in Sacramento and saw a movie by the Shakespeare company.
They took their new Shakespeare Model 1969 baitcasting reel to the Amazon to test it on the exotic freshwater Golden Dorado.
After that movie, I bought a new Shakespeare 1969 baitcasting reel.
