Another stretch of the 90's on the way next week for New England. Nice to be able to get a morning in before it hits.

Nice photo.
Early, late, and nighttime is what's going on for fishing now in August in Florida.
When we get rain here, it cools off some and is nice.

Nice fish, Guido. Thanks for posting it. I watch a YouTube photographer in New England. He goes to some nice places. I could hang out there for awhile. Catch a few fish, get some warbler photos, maybe get a striper or go to the Finger Lakes and catch largemouth. When I was a kid we went to my grandparents in Stratford, Connecticut. I remember seeing horseshoe crabs. They are prehistoric looking.

New England has it's pluses and minuses. Decent and varied fishing, very different scenery than out west. The spring migration of warblers was quite wonderful this year and I have second broods of Baltimore Orioles at the jelly feeder. It has been quite hot and dry by local standards. I can't wait for fall and Pike season to start...

I have a second brood of doves on top of my patio light. It seems like a bad spot for a nest but they got it to work. I might put a shelf up there so they don’t have to use the light. A scrub Jay killed one that fell or got pushed out of the nest. The scrub Jay found it almost immediately. I chased him off once but he came right back I am sure. We don’t get the big warbler migration. Some but it is not overwhelming. Bob Seger had a line about the east coast - you want some people well they got the most.
Good luck on the pike. Toothy critters.
