These trips have been going on for many decades, from Grants Pass downstream to the lower river.
You can go on a 4-day, Steelhead drift boat float trip down the Rogue River, stopping at remote historic lodges every night.
I was looking into it and they recommended the first week in September as a prime date.
The same groups have been going for years because it is an amazing adventure.
They say the first 2 days, going down through the Wild & Scenic stretch, there is not much fly-fishing water.
The next two days have the best fly-fishing water.
