Last year we were going to do a Patagonia trip but ended up balking on it for a number of reasons.
This year the situation has changed and I have $1200 business class round trip for us that I was lucky enough to score last month (to EZE) and I think we are going to go for it. Trip is in late November and we will have 8 days in Argentina with 6 of them at the lodge of our choice.
Have any of you fished with Patagonia River Guides (PRG)? I'm about to drop a lot of money on their signature lodge in Trevelin, and would feel better about it with a firsthand account of how great it is. While we know that the lodge and the guides cannot control the quality of the fishing, we expect impeccable service, food, and lodge experience and will let the fish decide if they want to cooperate.
