View Full Version : Hawaii will require fishing license starting February 2024
Aloha, starting next month Hawaii will require out of state visitors to get a fishing license. It will cost $20/day, $40/week, or $70 for the year. They promise the money will go to help support fishing, like more FADs to attract fish offshore. They think this will generate a million dollars a year for fisheries support.

As long as they don't "appropriate" the money from the fund for something else, more important.
I was told that the State of California has "borrowed" money from our "Fish & Wildlife" license fund, more than once.
$40/week is a good deal.
Is that for fresh and saltwater, on all islands?
*In Florida, at 65 years old, residents get a free fishing and hunting license.
