Gonna be in Salem next week and I'm curious if there's any good fishing on the Willamette close to downtown?

Not sure, however, there is an Ironman race there on Sunday. Expect lots of people for a few days later as well. Our daughter is is competing again. Nice city.

Jefferson Bridge on Santiam had some resident Trout but I am talking 30 years ago back in college days. Same on South Santiam at Waterloo. Caught some nice summer run Steelhead and Spring Chinooks there in the park.
