Stumbled upon a nice little website on shad fishing

I've really gotten the itch, and stopped into Kiene's Fly Shop a couple of days ago to pick up materials to tie some Bloody Maria's and even Andy Guibord's little green shad fly (I forget it's name).

I also started perusing shad flies, and found a neat little site by a guy who looks like he's not selling anything, just writing about shad fishing out of Florida:

Over ten years ago Bjorn Straube took me to the Saint Johns River near Titusville, Florida in February for American Shad.

We went out in his outboard skiff, anchored up and cast from the boat.

We caught some Shad so I can add one more state and river to my Shad fly fishing list.
