Got a new rod and I'm itching to try it out, but I'm not quite sure where to go since I have to be in the Auburn area most of the day. Anywhere within 30 minutes of Colfax that you know of? I've wondered about some local-ish forebays like Drum and Wise...? Any thoughts? Doesn't have to be for trout either. If you know any spots for bass or carp, etc. at this time of year I'm open to that too. I'm open to PM's. Thanks!
