The rise of two handed fly fishing, Spey fishing, in America has been so good for our fly fishing community.
The late Jimmy Green helped invent / develop the shooting head system with single hand fiberglass fly rods after World War II.
In his later years he promoted two handed / Spey casting living at the mouth of the Grande Ronde river.
Other than "tide water" fly fishing with single hand fly rods and shooting heads, most are using two handed/Spey rods for Steelhead.
