I'm organizing our Texas bass trip 2022. 2 weeks fishing east Tx lakes, 3 day driving time either side. I have time shares for the 2 weeks to minimize housing costs. Lake Athens, Lake Fork, Lake of the Pines, Gilmore are likely targets. The 2021 trip was a big success. We can target spring (late April-May) or fall (October) depending on interest. Cost TBD but around $650 plus food and possible share of extra time housing. Call Mike 408-807-4340

Naturally, we have unbelievable fishing for LMB in Florida too.

The big deal in Florida right now is the new Headwaters Lake that you can search for on YouTube.

Top Water Bass guy Steve Potter and I can be fishing Headwaters Lake in less than an hour from my home in Sebastian, Florida.

Fall, Winter and Spring is the best timing for Florida's large mouth bass fishing.

The Summers are just to hot and humid in the South for 'humans' who fish, other than early morning.

I am guessing that Texas would have similar timing?

This Texas Bass Trip sounds good to me.

It would cost $650 for a top skiff guide in the FL keys for one day?

October is one of the top months for Redfishing on the Texas coast.

Spring time is fast approaching. As Bill has kindly pointed out, this is 14 days on the water fishing for less than 1 day's guide. These lakes have slot limits; you must release all fish 14-22 inches long. Most locals don't keep even the large fish. And because most lakes are shallow, you don't move far to find the next target; more of the lake is useable for the fish and food is everywhere. Give yourself a Xmas present and share the condo/trip.

To be more clear; I am looking for a fishing partner. I'm paying for the 14 day stay; we split hotel and gas costs on the trip to and from Tx. Please call Mike 408-807-4340
