I ordered this recently and took it out for the first time earlier this week. Very well made. A little heavy, but not annoyingly so. Mid-day, I planted my staff between two rocks and then slipped so that my knee (and my weight) hit the staff about midpoint. That's how I folded my last staff in half. This one didn't budge.

To order, you can find the link of the Washington Fly Fishing Forum. Info below.

Common complaints with most folding wading staffs are that they get stuck, vibrate in the current, or wear out…Not this one. Having sold over 400 of my Riverstick wading staffs worldwide, customers often comment that it has proven to be the worlds’ strongest and most practical folding wading staff on the market.
The heart of the staff is the extremely durable, heavy-guage 6061 marine-grade aluminum tubing and machined inserts. A unique practical feature of the staff is that all other components: the grip, rubber tips and bungee cord are easily found in most hardware stores, This allows the staff to be totally self-maintainable, and virtually able to withstand a lifetime of use. The hammer loop holster has proven to be the perfect holster, allowing the staff to be easily deployed, or replaced, with one hand.
The staff comes with a nylon wrist strap and stainless ring just below the grip for clipping onto a retractor to let it hang extended. At 1 lb 10 ozs, it is solid, and built to last.

I build each staff to your preferred length, or can recommend a length to suit your height.
Rule of thumb for height/length: 5’5” - 5’7” = 51”, 5'8" - 5'10" = 52", 5'11" - 6' 2" = 53", 6'3" - 6'5"= 54-56". A good measure is to top of waders with boots on.

Price is $100 + $20 (shipping in NA) = $120 usd total.
Please pm for further information.

I have been using one for 2 years. I don't know how I got by without this. It is substantially stronger than my Simms.

ID is 1/8 inch while OD is just under 7/8. Designed and built in his shop. Rick Humphrey Campbell River, BC 2509233458 or rhumphrey@telus.net

This is the last wading staff you will need to purchase. Standard height is 53 inches but you can have it cut longer. I'm 6-2 and find that perfect for me.

It's a beast! Keep in mind that with that comes weight. It's not a carbon fiber trekking pole by any means.

This was my review when I originally got this staff...
Initially when you get the staff it will feel generally heavier due to it's solid construction. However, once you fold it out and start using it it feels well balanced and swings easily with my gait while walking down the trail (I have hiked probably 15-20 miles with the staff so far). In the water you do not notice the weight but you will notice how strong it is and it does not take on water or come apart prematurely when it gets between rocks/logs etc. I had to be in a really strong current for it to start vibrating and then the vibration was very subtle. The holster is functional and easy to work with. The open design of the holster allows you to slide the handle inside leaving the staff extended with the tip of the stick against a rock in the current so you can cast without dropping your staff in to the water. This is nice because it just sits right on your hip ready to go. Overall I am pleased with the ease of ordering, the speed of the delivery and the functionality of the product. Awesome job Rick you definitely have a winning product in my view.

Another app development idea that you might want to consider is investing in an app development company that provides a large number of apps for a low price. Although this will cost more initially, it will save you a lot of money in the long run. You can be assured of a steady flow of new apps that you can promote to customers for a very low cost. Moreover, an app developer https://mlsdev.com/services/business-analysis can also give you advice on what apps to develop based on your business needs and market position.
