Visiting family back in Minnesota. Was able to sneak out a few mornings to fish in between the copious drinking (those Wisconsin women can pound beers!) and pierogi folding…

Lots of super aggressive Northern Pike, two walleye and the tons of giant sunfish.

Lunches were delicious.

My buddies son stuck the biggest, 30” Slimer.
My buddy with his walleye.

It’s out of the way but what a great place to visit. Trying to plan some duck and pheasant trips.

Not much better than a Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan noontime fish fry.

People you meet up there are so friendly, Ah?

Had a great trip up to northern Wisconsin with top fly fishing guide Brad Bohen.

Smallmouth, Pike, Musky, Walleye and Lake Trout........

The big Musky flies they use are a piece of art and look alive in the water.
