Hey everyone, so I will be in Kona this November for my wedding. I am currently researching fishing guides to book a trip. I would prefer fly fishing but I am open to anything. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Get a hold of Don Memmer. He's a board regular and posts often right here in the "Saltwater" section. Jim May and I have fished with him and he knows just about all the good out of the way places.

He lives in Hilo but fishes the whole island. He's also the rep. for both TFO and Rainy's Flies. Here's his ph. number 808 961-6402

Aloha, Tony

Thank you so much! I actually sent him a private message per the recommendation from another member on the Kiene FB page. Don must be a hell of an angler for such high recommendations! Thanks again!

Thanks Tony and the other kind soul. I am now retired from teaching and doing as much guiding as I can. My hope land line of 808-961-6402 is no longer in service. My wife and I had a disagreement about it and she won. My cell is 808-896-0780. If any of you need help finding the fish on the Big Island, just let me know, Don.

Don,
You are quite welcome. Enjoyed our time on the water.
