Yuba Shad?

Has anyone been fishing the Yuba recently? Are they in yet? If so, how far? Thanks!

We've been fishing the Feather for stripers and the fish finder screen has been black with shad marks for weeks.
I haven't been able to get up the Yuba because of the low water flows.
I'm sure they're up there by now.

I didn't see any at Daguerre Saturday. There are probably fish lower down, I didn't try.

I heard of someone who ran the lower river in a sled last week, no success on Shad, but found trout/steelhead.

I honestly have never caught Shad at DaGuerre when flows were under 2K. That being said I only try when it's been at that level. Have tried only once at 700-1K and it was squawfish city. Curious if any of you have had luck in years past when flows were at 1-2K or at present?

I don't have a whole lot of experience at Daguerre but I was wondering if the low water might keep the shad down lower in the river. I'll try later in the run and see what happens.
